Today’s been such a busy day! We got a super early start as Joe was running the Bellevue 10K with an 8am start. He’s supportive of my races, so of course I went and cheered him on. Go Joe! 🙂
After the race, we went to The Dish in Ballard. We hadn’t ever been but I’m truly obsessed with Yelp and will always opt to try something that has many high reviews. This place did not disappoint. I got the Breakfast Sandwich which was superb. One whole egg (I’m usually an egg whites-only girl) with ham and some special sauce on a fluffy Essential Bakery bun. It came with a side of roasted red potatoes. Deeeelish!
Lola also got some much-needed playtime at Magnuson Park. 🙂 Unfortunately, it wasn’t as lively as the Boston Terrier Meetup group but she still had a blast and came home pooped!
Once hunger struck, we headed over to the University Village for din din at Boom Noodle. I love their Vietnamese Rice Noodle Salad. Perfectly light with grilled pork, rice vermicelli noodles, and a delicious juice/sauce. Yum!
Of course, since we were steps from Menchie’s I had to get a tiny concoction. This was probably the smallest one I’ve had yet… just needed a taste! What better than a delicious treat and pretty good deal too at less than $3. Score!
This caps off our busy Sunday!
What did you do during this lovely weekend? 🙂
